Description
Gandolf has been found after SIX MONTHS!!! Thanks to social media, a very dedicated administration team on Blacktown Lost & Found Pets with very good memories, and a persistent bird lover/catcher, Gandolf is now home safe! Well done to all involved in this happy ending, as can be seen in the picture above 🙂
. . . . . . . . . .
I lost my male Eclectus parrot named Gandolf on Sunday afternoon the 30th of August 2015 around 5pm from Stanhope Gardens. He took flight after getting a fright when a flock of rainbow lorikeets flew over.
He is approximately 18 months old. I hand raised him from 6 weeks. He has just started to say some words but does mumble and squawks. He loves to be on my shoulder and loves luke warm water from the tap.
Please help me find him. Spread the word please. If you have him or spot him please contact me via the Contact form on this page, my email amandaduv@me.com or mobile 0423080048
Maybe somebody has him but does not know where to report him being found. Please share to all your social media accounts, thank you.

Does he have a leg band? There is a lost male Eclectus parrot at Mona Vale vet hospital
Hi Kristin
Thanks for contacting us. I don’t think Gandolf has a leg ring, but I’m double checking with my client.
Do you work at Mona Vale Vets?
Thanks again,
Annette
There is an electus on a Facebook website called lost pets nsw
Thanks so much for letting me know about this bird. I searched for it and have shared the FBk post with Gandolf’s family. Claws crossed it might be him.
Thanks again,
Annette
