Description

ADOPTED!!!  Biggie & Smalls have a new home.

Thanks to posts on social media we ended up with two wonderful Adoption options and numerous offers of Foster care.  After a couple of days of friends visiting Biggie & Smalls to feed them, and with just two days left before the agent reclaimed the flat, they were safely delivered to a new home where they have settled in really well.

THANK  YOU  to everyone who shared their profile and our posts across all social media.  Your support is greatly appreciated and made a very difficult situation for the family come to a happy conclusion very quickly.  Biggie & Smalls are very happy in their new forever home.

ADOPT – Two beautiful Black & White 6 month old Kittens in need of a home together, URGENTLY.

This is a messed up situation.  I’m 23 years old from Scotland and decided to come work in Australia for 2 years.  I managed to find a company who sponsored me allowing me to stay in the country for as long as I wanted so I went and rented a nice apartment with the intention of staying there long term.  I decided to adopt 2 cats and once my sponsorship was through I’d come home for a month.  I was meant to fly back last week and got told at the check in desk I didn’t have a visa to enter Australia therefore wasn’t allowed on the flight.  My flatmate has been looking after them for me while I was in Scotland.  He’s now just messaged me saying he’s moved out today as he can’t afford to look after the cats for me anymore and pay the whole rent.

I’ve tried calling everywhere to get them somewhere to go but everywhere is full and the RSPCA said there’s a high chance they will be euthanised as they’re full as well. The cats are sisters and they love each other to pieces and I’d like them to be kept together if possible.  They have been recently wormed and flea treated, but were to be microchipped and desexed upon my return to Sydney.  I have a friend who can bring them to you if interested but as of now they have no one looking after them.

If you can ADOPT them please email me ASAP.

Please share to all your contacts & social networks.

The cats now have no one and the last option is the rspca where they will probably be euthanised. This was the last thing I was wanting but I’ve exhausted every other option and no one can help as all to capacity.

    • Very sorry to see this Lee, we hope all the social media campaigning pays off and you hear from some adoptees ASAP. Don’t give up, we won’t.

  2. So sad, those little girls all on their own. Can someone foster them for you until you find them a forever home? Or can you get them handed to your local vet. Also try Cats Protection in Newtown. Good luck.

    • Hi Sharon.
Lee has a friend who has visited them each day over the weekend to feed & play with them. Foster care has been offered and he is looking into that at the moment.
      Thanks for caring Sharon.
