Giving lost & abandoned pets a second chance

AT SYDNEY PET RESCUE & ADOPTION WE

Rescue and re-home companion animals from Death Row, and other unfortunate situations.

Are committed to a no kill policy, and keep animals for as long as it takes to find them a suitable home.

Re-home our pets desexed, vaccinated, vet checked, micro-chipped, flea and wormed.

Offer a trial period with each of our adopted pets to ensure a suitable match.

Are run exclusively by volunteers, including an extensive foster care network. This way our rescued pets are offered a comfortable home until they are adopted.

Operate an Assisted Re-homing Program, giving people an alternative to surrendering to  pounds where, if surrendered, their pets would be at a high risk of euthanasia.

Pet match each adoption applicant to ensure a good match for the adopted pet and the new owner.

Are committed to the promotion of responsible pet ownership and prevention of cruelty to animals.

HOW YOU CAN HELP US

We receive no government funding, and rely exclusively on our fundraising efforts and the generosity of the public.

THINGS WE ALSO NEED

Supplies including quality cat, kitten and dog food

Breeder’s Choice Litter

Flea and worm treatments for cats and kittens and dogs ie Advocat, Frontline, Felix paste,

Paper plates (unwaxed), stamps, bleach, Sard’s Oxy Action spray

Donations to assist with our vet bills, and help with fundraising

More foster carers for our cats/kittens/dogs/rabbits ie short/long term

More transport volunteers for transport of pets and donations

More volunteers for our adoption days and special events
