Ambrose is home!!! He was found about 2 miles from where he escaped. He’s in good health and I’m extremely pleased to have him back. Thank you so so for your help and support over the last 10 weeks.

My cat Ambrose escaped from his cat carrier whilst at Seadown Vets in the car park, waiting outside for our appointment on Wednesday 1 June at 11 am. The vets is in Hythe, Southampton and we live in Bournemouth so he is in unfamiliar surroundings and at least 30 miles from home.

Ambrose is a silver snow spotted tabby British Shorthair so has very distinctive markings. He has some small pale patches of ginger on his chest and stomach. He looks like a small snow leopard. He can be quite skittish so I am very worried as he is in unfamiliar surroundings and probably very scared, so much so that he won’t come out even for food. Otherwise he is a very friendly and placid cat. Ambrose was at Seadown vets for specialist treatment on his eyes so this could get worse left untreated.

Ambrose is a male neutered cat with no collar but is microchipped. He is almost 2 years old.
