Matilda has been missing since Saturday 2/6/2018.
She is a white and tabby short haired 3 year old female cat.
On one of her rear legs there is a circle of black fur in amongst the white leg. She also has a slightly droopy eyelid on her left eye, caused, the vet thinks, by a slight case of cat flu when she was a young kitten.
Matilda has been speyed and microchipped. The microchip status has been changed to lost. She was also wearing her collar and bell when lost. Her collar contains my contact details.
I have distributed 350 flyers to houses in the surrounding area, plus she has entries on facebook sites and twitter. In addition, there are posters up at my local vets, Post Office, library and village hall. She is also going to be mentioned in the monthly village magazine.

Some great news. We had a call yesterday from someone in the next road down from us. They thought they had spotted Matilda with their cat and she even came in the house, but when they went to pick her up, she ran out. They were sure it was her as they confirmed the details of her collar. Well, this morning they rang me and said she had come back again and they were able entice her in with some dreamies I left them yesterday. They took her straight to my vets (Their’s as well as they have a dog) and Matilda was checked over and found to be hungry but otherwise fine. She is now home with me and asleep on my bed. Thanks to everyone everywhere for all their help in locating her.
So wonderful Neil… Dreamies are the answer to almost everything!!!
Your story will give others hope.
Thanks for the update.
Take care,
Annette
WOOHOO I saw this tweeted by a friend, happy dance for these 2 kitties, but I hope the owners will take good care that none of them can get out again!!!
Thanks so much Marion.
Yes, she has stayed safe in doors and no more challenges!!
