Kali is home safe after numerous sightings and entering an humane trap.
Thanks to everyone at the yacht yard, everyone there was super helpful! They hid the cage behind some wood panels to keep him calm while I got there. As soon as I heard him I thought it must be him, then I put my hand in the cage and he started purring so I knew
He’s been an absolute sweetheart ever since. He’s a bit skinny, but apart from that he seems healthy. I will take him to the vets to make sure that all is well.
Thank you so very much for everything that you have done WherePetsAreFound, all of the tips of course but especially for listening.
It’s been truly helpful to have someone to talk to at a time like that.
. . . . . . . . . .
Kali was lost on the 25th of May 2020 near the Crown and Anchor in Dell Quay, PO207EE.
He is a black shorthair and he has big yellow eyes. He is neutered and microchipped. He is not local to the area (we live in Chichester) and is probably hiding somewhere.
We were out for a bike ride and he was in the front basket. When I tried to take the basket off the bike the strap broke, and the basked landed on the ground. Kali spotted a dog and freaked out, wriggled his way out of the harness and ran away towards the parked cars in front of the pub. He was spotted that evening on the property where the dog that spooked him lives. Despite being curious, he is mostly an indoor cat, which means he will probably hide instead of travel far. I am hoping he is doing just that and that soon he will be spotted around in a quiet corner of someone’s garden.
I would be very grateful if you could keep and eye/ear out for me and let me know.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
