REHOMED!!!  Cocker Spaniels of Australia, a no-kill breed specific rescue org, have agreed to take Benson into retirement care #woot #woof!!

Benson is a caramel coloured male American Cocker Spaniel.  American cockers are larger than standard King Charles Spaniels.  Benson’s fur is very thick and curly.  He is often mistaken for a Spoodle.

Benson’s a very affectionate and warm dog.  He is an older dog at about 13 years of age.  He doesn’t do much preferring to relax in his favourite spots.  He loves to sleep and eat mainly, so if you leave food out he’ll find it!

Special needs:

Benson is deaf and has a benign fatty lump on his abdomen that causes him no pain but does look a bit odd.

He would suit someone looking for some company.  Unfortunately we can’t give him the time he deserves now and are moving to a place that would see him become an outdoor dog.

Benson is a gorgeous companion with a lot of love to give and we’d like to find him a new home where he can live indoors.  He doesn’t have that many years left in him and deserves to live out his life in the company of love and indoors.
