Sherlock’s original adoption fell through. Pat sadly passed away on 29 September 2014 and her dieing wish is still in our hands. Please help us find Sherlock his forever home, and the love Pat so desperately wanted for him.
Sherlock, a six year old pit bull mix, has lost the most important person in his life… His beloved guardian, Pat.
This was Pat’s dieing wish:
“As the end all-too-quickly approaches, Pat is faced with the gut-wrenching fear that her constant companion will not be safely in a home after she is gone. The last thing that she wants to consider is the unthinkable…that her dog might be forced to go to a shelter if a new guardian cannot be secured.”
We need to deliver on this wish, he is now in foster care: PLEASE SHARE Sherlock’s story to help him find a NEW FAMILY.
“Sherlock has basic obedience training and is housebroken. He loves people but has never been around young children. He loves long walks and cuddling on the couch. He is such a sweetheart. Sherlock would do best in a home with no other pets. Well mannered, sweetheart of a boy who can’t comprehend that his human is gone.”

I could give him a warm and safe home.We own our house,so no landlord problems.It is fenced with a big yard.We have a huge dog park here in Fairplay and a very good Vets office.I have had 2 pitty’s and they lived long happy lives.Thanks for considering us.

I am in shock about this, but have found out Sherlock’s adoption fell through. Pat passed away in September 2014 and his new adopter didn’t turn up.

Dear administration, I haven’t seen any outcome on this heartbreaking story, what hasbecome of Sherlocks life, dud they find him a home. And Pat did she happen to loss her life on the stage 4 cancer. I am sorry not to have written lately, I hope you followed Sherlock’s story on facebook & their website.
Unfortunately the story took a very bad turn, or two. Sherlock was all set up for adoption.
Pat passed away on 29 September 2014.
Sherlock’s adoption was never completed. He is in foster care with a trainer.
We are starting afresh to find Sherlock a new forever home.
Could you please pray for him and Pat’s peace.

Just found this in my fb memories. Is this poor soul still needing to find his furever home. I don’t know if I should share him again. I followed his mum’s story and I know that his safety and forever was her last wish.
