Good news about Beau!  His original owner found a way to keep him at home, so he’s leaving the Vet #pronto!!
They’ll be getting help with blood testing and insulin injections.  Thank you so much for helping share his story , it has a happy ending that he stays with his Mom, and you’ve helped us increase awareness of Diabetic Cats.

Beau is a 15 year old diabetic cat who’s currently stuck in a cage at the veterinary hospital because his owner is unable to give him insulin shots. His diabetes is not difficult to control. He doesn’t mind getting his glucose tested or getting his insulin injections, his owner just can’t do it. Beau is friendly with humans and with other cats. He’s neutered and up to date on his shots. We are looking for a home for him because anyone deserves better than to spend his life in a cage.
