A HUGE thank you to everyone that ‘shared’ our birdy.  I am very happy to report that a lovely lady found him this afternoon and he is now home with us!!  It was a very emotional reunion!!
For the most part he is well.  A little quiet and very tired.  I’d say he hasn’t eaten in a while because he went straight for his food.  He’s been saying “Rio” and doing all his tricks.  I am ever so grateful for everyone’s help and can’t thank a certain lady enough.  Tonight our family will sleep a lot better.  Rio is home!!

RAINBOW LORIKEET
Our beloved 4 year old hand-reared Rainbow Lorikeet took off this afternoon, 08/01/2015.  He was last seen flying towards Coles from Lewis Rd, Cambridge Gardens.  He goes by the name of “Rio”.  He is extremely tame.  He can speak very well.  He can say “Rio”, “Ri-Ri”, “Dora”, can bark like a dog, laugh and call like a magpie.  He can also do “jump jump” as we call it and jump like a kangaroo.

He is already missed so so much.  Could you please keep an eye out for him and contact me if you have any information on 0401800377 (Sam).  We have had him since a baby and he is a part of our family.  My son is devastated, as are we all.
